We always have a back up when ordering peonies! I never guarantee them because you just never know.

We had white o’hara garden roses as a sub for white peonies. For this wedding we had to sub them but in the end it all worked out to have white peonies for our client!

Get. The. Fish. Net. 👏🏻

This little gem has been so handy in the studio and we even have them in our toolboxes!

We have a strainer in the sink we pour into but sometimes the water in buckets is still fresh but needs a good clean! This is where the fish net comes into play. It’s perfect!

We carry them in our toolboxes so if we’re on sight with buckets of flowers/greenery we can clean it out before dumping the water.

Just an easy inexpensive tool that saves time and helps!! 🐠

Let’s talk Asiatic lilies (not oriental, my bad!!!)

This is a personal preference on how you like to send them out and this is what do!

🌿 Daily Orders: remove open lilies and send out very closed ones.
🌿 Weddings & Events: send out as many fully opened as possible.

Remember that florals is all about perception and how you view the flowers. We all have different preferences, taste and feel about flowers so always do what you prefer but definitely remove the anthers! 🤍

🌿🌸 Not every install goes as planned but this one turned out beautiful! Before anyone asks the venue drilled hooks into the wall for us when they built their chapel a few years ago!! We mentioned it would be beneficial for the venue to add hooks in order for no damage to occur when a vendor is installing.

We can’t wait to be back at @lonestaroakslh this weekend for a smilax install! 🤩

Last minute add on from one of our weddings a few weeks ago. 🧡

Our bride wanted to include an orange memorial arrangement in honor of her husband’s brother.

Since this was a drop off and she had a specific vase she wanted to use, we designed it in one of our vases that matched the height of hers so it could be easily transferred on site with no stress, no redesign, and seamless. 👏🏻

We ordered 18 inch wreaths from a company and they never showed up 😱😬 Not to worry!!!! @rlinflwrs had some wreaths that we snagged so this is what we did! She had 18 inch wreaths from end to end and we needed 18 inch wreath frames (hopefully that makes sense). This meant hers were too small 🙃 BUT we made it work!

We took one of the wreaths we got from her and zip tied it to our 18 inch wire wreath frame. Then we took apart one of the wreaths and created little bundles then zip tied those to the outer layer of the frame to create the size we needed.

We did this process twice and it worked like a charm! Once on site we hung the wreaths up and started to add in fresh flowers and baby’s breath. We did not water pick the flowers or anything like that. We simply stuck them into the wreath and they held with no problem.

The wreaths were intended for the main doors but the arch for the ceremony ended up blocking them so we adjusted placement (thanks to @sister_events 🤩) and put one on the cake doors and one on the bar outside.
