Howdy! I'm Courtney, the owner and lead designer of Cone Flower Designs. My love for flowers started while I was a student at Texas A&M (whoop!). During college I studied horticulture and worked in a floral shop + a florist who specialized in weddings/events. After graduating in 2018 I knew I wanted to take a leap of faith and start my own company. I wanted to use my passion for floral design to create a company that could bring our client's visions to life and create beautiful florals for their special day. The name Cone Flower Designs came about because Cone has always been a family nickname and a cone flower is a specific type of flower. The word designs was added on to make it fancy. That is the story of how Cone Flower Designs was started!

Since we started in 2018 we have built a studio, added two delivery cars (White Betty & Black Betty), designed hundreds of weddings and events, made amazing friendships, and learned a lot. We also try to share some of what we have learned along the way to help our clients get the most out of their budget, and to help other florists along their journey. I try to educate clients about the floral industry and what exactly goes into each design. I offer alternative flower choices that work within each clients budget as well as tips and tricks to get the most out of a floral budget.
