Part 5: Wedding Day!!!!!

We did it and it turned out SO beautiful. Exactly what our couple envisioned 🤍🌿

Even with the hiccups (looking at you, calla lilies 😒), we made it work.

Yes, we added extra stems to make up for the closed blooms.
Yes, I brought in fresh orchids even though the plan was fully artificial.
Yes, I added a few extra peonies.

Did I have to? No.
But it felt right.

Our bride loves orchids, and we originally chose artificial because the ceremony was supposed to be outside in direct sun. They wouldn’t have held up and she trusted our opinion and advice about it.

But then…the rain plan was called! Everything moved inside.

We had extra fresh orchids on hand, and I knew she would love seeing them in person. So we added them in!

That’s the best part of owning a business, getting to make those calls.

Doing what’s right will always matter more to me 🤍

Happy Sunday fam! I’d love to know if you’re like me in this aspect or not.

Before I start to design the studio has to be reset. Sink area cleaned up, buckets put away, table cleared off, towels folded, lazy susan’s organized, etc.

For whatever reason my brain can’t focus unless that’s done first. I think it’s mainly because it helps moving forward to know that when I finish with a vase or bucket the area where it needs to go will be free.🤪

I’d love to know what must be done before you start designing?? Maybe it’s just a me thing but I’m so curious 🧐
