This one felt like perfect timing. A client needed an arrangement for a Veteran, and we just happened to have red and white blooms leftover + the exact amount of red, white, and blue ribbon sitting in the studio. 🇺🇸

Sometimes it all comes together exactly how it’s supposed to and getting to use what we already had on hand made it that much sweeter!!!

Processed 45 hydrangeas in no time! 🌿

Here’s a different method we like to use every now and then just in case you’ve never seen it before. It’s not our everyday approach, but it definitely gets the job done!

One thing to keep in mind: they’ll need most of the day to dry before going into the cooler, so plan ahead if you give this a try! We finished processing in less than 10 minutes and they sat out for about 7ish hours to dry.

1. Lisianthus is expensive, so take the extra minute to make every stem count.
2. The inside color is just as beautiful as the outside. Let it shine. ✨
3. Opening the bloom creates a larger visual impact and gives you more presence in the design without needing more stems.

We love Lisianthus, but we’re strategic about when we use it because she is not cheap. 💰

We pre-made these pampas grass mini cages in the studio, brought our pampas grass prep bucket on site and then touched up some areas once attached to the easels. Pre-making these saved SO much time on site!

We get asked about our boutonnières a lot and I think it’s mainly because you don’t see us wrap/pack in the same video. People assume we don’t wrap them, leave them unfinished or don’t send pins with it! That’s definitely not what happens 😆

We wrap, pack and QC our boutonnières the day of the event. The morning of the wedding or event we’ll do this and then they go out. We mainly do this so the boutonnières stay in water until the last minute before they have to go out!

Putting those two numbers side by side really makes you stop and think about how much can happen in a short amount of time. 🥲

What started as designing in the entryway of my house has turned into something bigger than I ever could’ve planned. Not perfect, not always pretty but built with a whole lot of love, consistency, problem solving and figuring it out as we go!

Growth and success look different for everyone. Don’t get caught up comparing your chapter 2 to someone else’s chapter 10. Be proud of what you’ve built, no matter what stage you’re in! 🤍
